Please observe the rules for operating a fire pit and ensure that children are kept safely away from fire and burning hazards. Do not leave a fire unattended. When the fire has burned town to embers, be sure to cover the fire pit to keep embers from blowing away and potentially starting wildfires. Observe Maine State and town guidelines for when it is safe to have outdoor fires.
